Sustainable Beekeeping
What we are doing to be sustainable
We believe in organic beekeeping as a means to help protect the environment and, at the same time, empower local communities with a decent income. Beekeepers located in areas suitable for the production of natural honey are at the forefront of the battle for environmental preservation and we fully support them.

Support local eco organisations
We sponsor local orgnaisations who plant upwards of 40,000 native plants each year in the Persina Natural Reserve and Belene area.

Planting bee friendly plants
We plant a mix of native plants and bee friendly coloured plants (chive, lupine, liatris, etc.) in our gardens and homes.

Educating community
We encourage our community and park visitors to learn how to support healthy bee populations. Thanks to our team we have helped in beekeepking education of over 500 people so far.

Lowering our footprint
We have eliminated the use of plastics and non recyclable products from our packaging and daily business where it is possible. We compost organic scraps and recycle as much as possible. Our goal is to gradually make our CO2 footprint entirely neutral.
